In the wilds of Canada, a drunken drifter stumbles into the snowy wilderness and finds something unexpected. In Detroit, Vixen attempts to persuade Aquaman to search for Mera, his wife while the rest of the League bond. Out jogging, Elongated Man and his wife Sue find Steel and Vibe fighting because Steels wishes to date Vibe's sister but hadn't asked for Vibe's permission, before they are all recalled to headquarters. There, J'onn J'onnz informs them that Aquaman has gone missing and that in Canada, the killer android Amazo had been see destroying a small town. The League fly North and begin searching for the android though he finds them first and knocks J'onnz unconcious.
